This Nightmare will give you a chance to spend some time as The Banished and fight like a Brute against a Flood threat to the Ark (and really the whole galaxy…the Flood doesn’t do anything halfway).
Our biggest news at the show is the announcement that the Halo Wars 2: Awakening the Nightmare expansion will release on September 26, 2017. We wanted the last of our slate of Leaders to go out with a bang and a bit of a wink, and it only made sense to tap a Grunt to add a bit of levity before the much more serious developments at gamescom. Of course our newest leader YapYap The Destroyer is a hard act to follow, and hopefully all of you are enjoying his Grunty power in the multiplayer game mode of your choice. We wanted to share that news with everyone who couldn’t pop over to Germany for an intimate gathering with a few hundred thousand gaming friends. It’s been a busy six months since the launch of Halo Wars 2 and we’re really excited to have even more fun to add to the game in the very near future.
